CLAWS & PAWS ANIMAL RESCUE CENTER operates as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization.

The animal rescue sustains itself by community donations and the resale of gently used items and clothing, making them affordable to communities of Richland County and beyond. 

Founder, Shelley Brinkley, evolved from a young girl rescuing animals, to a Local Grassroots Animal Rescue Advocate. Shelley’s spirit encompasses her childhood dream that has developed into a reality. This reality became a life-long journey as this advocate committed to helping and searching for missing animals, rescued animals on her own, assisted in the adoption process of other shelters, and personally taken a stand in the community by housing some neglected, abused, or owner relinquished animals into her own home.

With overwhelming support from the communities residents and businesses alike, her dream of opening an Animal Rescue Center became a reality in October 2019.

If you are interested in our rescued animals, please fill out an application. We can also send you an application via email – send your request to cnprescuecenter@gmail.com and a Foster Adoption Application will be sent to you. 

Unless otherwise noted our Adoption Rates are as follows:

Dogs: $175

Cats: $75

Re-homing: $25

Micro-chipping: $20-Standard

Micro-chipping: $35-GPS-based on Vendor upgrades/subscriptions/products

Other Animals such as Guinea pigs, Birds, Rabbits, Reptiles: please speak with a CNP Representative for more information & pricing.

ALL Rates are subject to change, taxes are included or will be charged upon receipt.

We DO NOT place rescues on a 1st Come 1st Serve Basis.

All applications are reviewed, vetted, and screened before approval (Personal & Vet References applies).

Other rates/fees will be disclosed as needed.

ALL RESCUES ARE PLACED WITH THE RESCUES BEST INTEREST & APPLICATION PROCESS CAN TAKE UP TO 2 WEEKS OR LONGER PLEASE BE PATIENT

All donations for resale are accepted during normal business hours, as well as at the back of the facility at our donation center marked by orange cones. Please call for curbside assitance. A staff/volunteer will be ready to assist you.
